Hi! I’m Flora, an English teacher who loves making lessons fun, engaging & personalised to each student. My approach is about creating a relaxed, supportive atmosphere where you can feel confident & motivated to learn. Whether you’re preparing for a test, working on your fluency, or just looking to improve your skills, I’m here to help you every step of the way. I’m friendly, patient, and always ready to adapt my lessons to your needs. Outside of teaching, I’m a big fan of reading, staying active with running, swimming, and yoga. Right now, I’m exploring Czechia and always excited to learn new things. I’d love to work with you and help you achieve your language goals. Don’t hesitate to get in touch — I’m looking forward to hearing from you!
I hold a BA Hons in History and Italian from the University of Edinburgh and a Master’s in Psychology from the University of London. Before transitioning into teaching, I worked for the British Academy in London, where I managed international projects in the Humanities and Social Sciences, collaborating with academics and government officials. I also have experience working in the UK’s healthcare sector, particularly in mental health. I graduated from The Language House in Prague with a TEFL certification and have since gained extensive experience teaching English to students of all ages, levels, and learning styles. I currently work with a language school, although I also offer private lessons to clients. Originally from the UK, I have an RP accent, which I use to help my students with pronunciation. With a strong academic background and diverse professional experience, I bring a unique perspective to my teaching practice. My lesson style is centered around creating a relaxed and fun classroom where students feel confident and comfortable using and practicing their English. I design lessons that are engaging and tailored to my students' interests, whether it's through speaking, writing, listening, or reading activities. I believe in making learning relevant and enjoyable, so I often choose materials that align with what my students are passionate about. My goal is to create a chatty, student-led environment where everyone feels encouraged to participate, practice, and improve their English skills in a supportive, low-pressure setting.
